June 2010:
ERLink attends GCEP annual spring meeting in Hilton Head

June 10-13, 2010. ERLink participated in the annual spring symposium of the Georgia College Of Emergency Physicians (GCEP) held at the Marriott Resort & Spa on Hilton Head Island. GCEP is the Georgia chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).

The GCEP meeting provided an opportunity to introduce ERLink's business model to attendees from across the southeast and gain valuable feedback.

"We had a significant number of attendees very interested in who we are, and what we're doing," said CEO Larry Hightower. "I am very encouraged that our vision, mission and physician-centric business model was so well received, and that we had clearly differentiated ourselves from other online communities."

May 2010:
ERLink presents at Innoventure Southeast 2010

Bea Wray, ERLink's Vice President of Community Development, was an invited spacer at InnoVenture Southeast 2010. The conference provided an opportunity to present an overview of ERLink and its technology partner, QuantiaMD, to nearly 400 attendees. Leaders in innovation from higher education, The Darla Moore School of Business, Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina were only a few of the featured presentations.

"There was tremendous interest in ERLink from session attendees," said Wray. "We had over 60 participants request additional information."

In its seventh year, the InnoVenture Southeast conference brings together senior leaders and passionate champions of innovation to present their businesses to an influential, connected audience as they seek customers, capital, talent and technology.

April 2010:
Matt Tincher: Making a Difference in Haiti
Less than a month after the 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti in January 2010, Dr. Matt Tincher, emergency room physician and ERLink advisor, traveled to the devastated country as part of a medical mission trip. "Despite years of medical training and past experience with medical missions, I was overwhelmed by the experience," Dr. Tincher shares his story.
